About the Myanmar Music Festival Choir

The Myanmar Music Festival Choir is led by our Vocal Director & Mezzo Soprano, Ms. Yiling Chaing and her assistant vocal coach, Mr. Jaw Htoi Ring La-Ung. This festival choir aspires to build a Myanmar National Choir comprising of singers from all states and regions of Myanmar and are recruited on a national audition basis. Other guest choirs from other countries have also joined the festival choir to perform together with the Myanmar National Choir. Guest choir conductors have also been invited to coach the choir.

​Myanmar National Choir

The members of this choir were selected through an audition process launched by MMF in February 2018 and 2019. Members come from different states around Myanmar. Our goal is to include singers from each state and region of Myanmar to create a Myanmar national singing group. We will be launching another national audition very soon for MMF2020.
